I have worked with a very diverse range of businesses, organisations and charities to help them tell their stories through video, and I am passionate about the power of social video, vlogging and short films to reach and to engage an audience. I created and presented the TV series 'Introducing' for Made in Tyne & Wear, and have worked with many music, arts and entertainment clients in the region. This work includes ongoing video production for Bait (Creative People and Places Northumberland), Headway Arts, Helix Arts, East Durham Creates, Mortal Fools Theatre Company, November Club, Great Northumberland, The Great Exhibition of the North, Hexham Queen’s Hall Theatre, Theatre Royal Newcastle, Sage Gateshead, Dance City, BALTIC, Museums Northumberland Woodhorn, The Empty Space, D6 Culture in Transit, The Samling Foundation and many individual artists and performers. This work covers everything from project documentation, trailers and promo reels, social media content and feature digital video content.
Over the last 5 years I have experienced an increasing demand to create video content for creative arts projects, and have filmed in France, Poland, Sweden, Lithuania, Latvia, Portugal, Greece and Italy.
During the current COVID-19 crisis, I have developed online training and collaboration resources for artists and performers, helping them cope with the restrictions of lockdown by taking their work online. I also established and manage the online artists group 'The Creative Collective' on Facebook with over 1000 members.
I have developed a range of online training using Zoom which can be group or 1 on 1 sessions. The free webinar is an overview of all the ways you can communicate effectively with high quality online content.
