- Distributing Sport England Lottery Funding to deliver agreed participation outcomes
- Providing training and development opportunities
- Developing and growing the coaching workforce and maintaining a comprehensive database of qualified personnel
- Developing and growing the volunteer base
- Working with schools to deliver competitive sport and develop links from school to community sport
- Managing a sports facilities strategy action plan and supporting partners to lever in investment
- Managing a physical activity action plan to provide opportunities for all to lead more active lifestyles
- Providing market intelligence and evidence to inform policy and ensure projects succeed.

In a reality where we are bombarded with relentless stimulation and scarcity our central nervous system is in a constant state of arousal known as fight or flight. This means our body is always reacting as if we are in danger. This can show up as physical pain such as migraines, headaches, back/ neck and jaw pain and chronic fatigue syndrome (to name a few). As well as emotional disorders such as depression, anxiety and overwhelm.
In order for us to counter some of the extreme over stimulation we face everyday, a regular practice to create space in the mind and harmonise the systems with in the body is essential.
This can be achieved through a combination of movement and deep breath.
Yoga, Pilates and mindful movement classes are accessible to all bodies of all ages in Corbridge Yoga Studio.
