We will carry out a medical risk assessment of your event and identify a level of medical provision required in accordance with the event safety guide (2014).
All our staff are trained to the highest of standards and we can provide evidence of training and qualifications on request.
We have the following staff available to us, Doctor, Nurse ( various Qualifications), Paramedic, ambulance technician, emergency medical technician, emergency care assistant, first responder, event first aider. We have staff qualified in various areas from Advance blue light driving, paediatric specialist care, search and rescue, bariatrics, elderly care ,palliative care and working with special needs.
Our doctors, nurses and paramedics and EMTs are all registered with their respective governing bodies and we can provide evidence of this i.e HCPC,,NMC & UKREMT number.
Our staff undergo regular training sessions and courses to keep their skill level to the highest standard and up to date with all clinical and non clinical regulation and care updates, all staff are encouraged to keep a professional development portfolio of training and reflective accounts and this is reviewed in staff supervision so we can develop skills together .
Staff are up to date with all policies and procedures including statutory and company requirements such as Health and safety at work,control of substances hazardous to health (coshh), manual handling operations regulations 1992 (MHOR),Safeguarding adults and children.
All staff are Enhanced CRB checked .
The equipment that we use is maintained to a high standard with regular servicing and checks completed.
All our staff are trained to complete dynamic risk assessments when working on events and know the correct procedure for reporting any risks that they are concerned about.
Our teams have access to an on call manager at all times who is able to deal with any concerns and respond to an event if required.
Our vehicles are equipped with up to date equipment enabling our staff to complete their role to the best possible standard, the vehicles and equipment are checked on a regular basis, the vehicles are serviced and maintained regularly.
All staff complete a vehicle daily inspection (VDI) prior to using any vehicle and know the correct way to report any defects or concerns.
Rapid Reaction N.E Ltd have over 15 years experience providing event cover to the event industry. Our management team have over 40 years combined experience working within the nhs and frontline services.
Rapid Reaction N.E Ltd has a vast portfolio of events and clients, some of our events we cover include, Run nation (running events including 5k 10k and half marathons), Berwick rangers Football club, Blyth town council, Lane farm equestrian, Alnwick Castle and Calendar lads community charity just to name a few.
We also cover Cycling, jousting, fireworks, village fairs, music festivals, triathlons.
When preparing for an event we provide an extensive event medical plan, we carry out pre event site visits, meeting with event organisers and other services involved in the event.
We provide local authorities and local emergency services with any information that they require about the event and the medical cover we are providing and with larger events we liaise with the services and have a plan in place should we have a major incident take place ,we also provide a site map detailing the location of our staff and medical treatment points and where vehicles will be positioned.
And also the location of the blue route on site which enables access and egress to the event site.
Over the years we have built up a good working relationship with the local authorities and emergency services especially the ambulance service having worked together on several occasions.
We can provide copies of our insurance and references from previous clients if you would like to see evidence of our work.

All our course are currently running within government and awarding body guidelines for Covid 19 . This currently means a maximum of 6 people and social distance of 2 meters between students and PPE is provided along with handwashing facilities.
We have also updated our course with a power point on Covid 19 to give students a basic understanding of the virus, how it spreads and what can be done to reduce the risks.
